1. Download the Imou Life App
   Install Imou Life from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Create or log in to your Imou account
   Open the app and sign in. New users must register with email or mobile number.
3. Power on the camera
   Connect the Imou camera to power and wait until the indicator light starts flashing.
4. Reset the camera if needed
   If the camera was used before, press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds until you hear the reset prompt.
5. Tap “+” in the Imou Life App
   Select Add Device.
6. Scan the QR code
   Scan the QR code printed on the camera body or on the camera box.
7. Connect to Wi-Fi
   Enter your Wi-Fi password. For most Imou cameras, use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Some newer models like Ranger 2 Pro support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.
8. Show the phone QR code to the camera
   The app will display a QR code. Hold your phone about 15–25cm in front of the camera lens until the camera confirms connection.
9. Finish setup
   Name the camera, choose the room/location, and start live view.
